Experiences & Activities

Game Drives

Morning and evening game drives are the most popular way to explore the park. With expert guides and trackers, you’ll follow trails that lead to thrilling wildlife sightings.

Bird Watching

Hot Air Balloon

Experience the Serengeti from above with a sunrise hot air balloon safari. Float silently over the plains, then enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush.

Night Game Drive

Night Game Drive

Available in certain areas of the park, night drives offer rare views of nocturnal animals like servals, genets, and hyenas.

Cultural Visit

Walking Safaris

For a more intimate connection with nature, guided walking safaris allow you to explore the smaller wonders of the bush — tracks, plants, insects, and birds.

Best Time to Visit

Dry Season (July-October)

The dry season offers the best wildlife viewing as animals congregate around water sources. The vegetation is thinner, making animals easier to spot. This is also when flamingo numbers on the lake are at their peak.

  • Ideal for wildlife viewing — animals gather around water sources
  • Perfect for witnessing river crossings during the Great Migration (July–September)
  • Clear skies and easy road access

Wet Season (November-May)

The wet season transforms the park into a lush, green paradise. This is the best time for birdwatching as migratory species arrive. The landscape is at its most beautiful, though some roads may become impassable.

  • Lush green landscapes and fewer tourists
  • Birdwatching paradise with migratory species arriving
  • Calving season in February–March — incredible predator action!
